Dr. Kamakshi Zeidler is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in the United States, founder of Aesthetx in California, founding physician partner at Lineage, member of the Board of Directors at Octane OC, and Chair of the Establishment Labs FemTech Advisory Board.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rice University, she completed her medical training at the University of California San Francisco, including advanced training in plastic surgery, stem cell research focused on wound healing, and microsurgery training at Stanford University.

Her work centers on aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, with a focus on innovation, patient centered care, and advancing new technologies in women’s health.

Informed by both clinical expertise and personal experience with hereditary breast cancer risk in her family through a BRCA gene mutation, Dr. Zeidler brings strategic leadership and a multidisciplinary perspective to advancing modern breast surgery and helping shape the future of breast aesthetics and reconstruction.

Dr. Federico Flaherty is a plastic surgeon based in Argentina, specializing in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. He completed his medical degree at the University of Buenos Aires and his surgical training in General and Plastic Surgery at Churruca Hospital. He is a member of the Argentine Society of Plastic Surgery (SACPER) and the Buenos Aires Society of Plastic Surgery (SCPBA), and from 2021 through 2022 was the Partner Society Associate Editor, Editorial Board of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal.

Dr. Flaherty currently serves as Head of the Plastic Surgery Service at Otamendi Medical Center and co-director of its breast unit. He is also the founder and president of the Mamamia Foundation, focused on breast reconstruction, and the author of Breast Reconstruction: A Scientific Guide Inspired by Life Stories. Additionally, he holds numerous trainings and specializations in the United States, Spain and Brazil with leading references in the field.

His work is defined by surgical precision, a strong commitment to patient safety, and active involvement in international training and education. He brings a multidisciplinary perspective to advancing breast surgery and patient care.

Peter Caldini joined the Company as the President in August 2024.  Prior to joining, Peter worked as a consultant with the Company’s leadership team to identify efficiencies and cost savings. Before that, Peter was the Chief Executive Officer at Acreage Holdings, Inc., a publicly traded company, from December 2020 to June 2023. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive Officer and a director at Bespoke Capital Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition corporation, from June 2019 until December 2020. Prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Pfizer, Inc., including Regional President North America for Pfizer Consumer Healthcare from 2017 to 2019; Regional President EMEA of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare from 2016 to 2017, and leader of the Northern European cluster from 2015 to 2016. From 2009 to 2014, Peter held roles of increasing responsibility at Bayer Consumer Healthcare, including leading the Global Nutritionals Strategic Business Unit and running a sub-region of emerging markets in EMEA. And from 2002 to 2009, he held roles of increasing responsibility at Wyeth Consumer Healthcare in the US and Internationally. Peter received a Masters of International Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA, Political Science from Boston University.

Né en Espagne en 1967, le Dr Mayo est titulaire d'un diplôme de médecine et de chirurgie de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, d'un doctorat en compétences de recherche de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid et d'une spécialité médicale en chirurgie plastique, esthétique et reconstructive depuis 2001, reconnue par le Royaume-Uni. Il est membre du GMC (General Medical Council), validé en Suisse et a une expérience professionnelle à Zurich et actuellement à Madrid. 

Il est l'auteur de chapitres d'ouvrages spécialisés et ses travaux ont été publiés dans des revues renommées, telles que Aesthetic Plastic Surgery et Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Le Pr Alexandre Mendonça Munhoz est professeur assistant de chirurgie plastique de la division Plastic Surgery, Breast Surgery à l'Université de São Paulo, School of Medicine à Sao Paolo, au Brésil, et membre à part entière de la SBCP (Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica). Il est membre invité des consultants internationaux du journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Breast Journal depuis 2006.

Entre 2010 et 2014, le Pr Munhoz est devenu membre permanent du comité éditorial de Annals of Plastic Surgery et de la coordination de la Commission nationale de reconstruction mammaire de la SBCP (Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Plástica).

Le Pr Munhoz compte actuellement 27 prix scientifiques liés à la recherche en chirurgie plastique, 145 articles scientifiques publiés, dont 124 indexés dans la plateforme PubMed, 93 publications en tant que premier auteur dans le domaine de la chirurgie esthétique et reconstructive mammaire, qui ont donné lieu à environ 2 967 citations avec un indice h de 29.

En 2013, il est devenu Chef du service de reconstruction mammaire de l'ICESP (Instituto do Cancer do Estado de São Paulo). Le Pr Ardeshir Bayat est Directeur du MRCWHU (Medical Research Council Wound Healing Unit) et enseigne à l'Université de Cape Town, au Cap, en Afrique du Sud. Il est considéré comme un expert en matière de cicatrisation des plaies, de réparation cutanée et de cicatrisation de la peau, avec une expertise internationalement reconnue en matière de technologie de surface des implants, de fibrose et de contracture capsulaire. Il a suivi une formation de chirurgien-scientifique et est titulaire d'un doctorat en génétique moléculaire de la fibrose. Il a publié de nombreux articles dans la littérature scientifique évaluée par des pairs (plus de 500 articles à ce jour). Il est régulièrement invité à participer à des conférences nationales et internationales sur la réparation des tissus (plus de 600 conférences à ce jour) et fait partie des comités de rédaction de plusieurs revues.

Robert Langer est Professeur d'institut au MIT (il y a 13 professeurs d'institut au MIT, c'est la plus haute distinction accordée à un membre du corps enseignant). Son indice h de 232 est le plus élevé de l'Histoire des ingénieurs. Il est titulaire de plus de 1 130 brevets délivrés ou en cours de délivrance, qui ont fait l'objet de licences ou de sous-licences accordées à plus de 300 entreprises. Il a présidé le SCIENCE BOARD (le comité consultatif suprême) de la FDA de 1999 à 2002. Le Pr Langer est l'un des rares individus à avoir été élu à la fois à la NAM (National Academy of Medicine), la NAE (National Academy of Engineering), la NAS (National Academy of Sciences) et à la NAI (National Academy of Inventors).  Il est l'une des quatre personnes vivantes à avoir reçu à la fois la US National Medal of Science et la US National Medal of Technology and Innovation. Previously, she was Chief Financial Officer of Artisan Design Group, where she strengthened financial controls.

From 2019 to 2022, Harris served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Tupperware Brands, where she led a comprehensive turnaround focused on cost reduction, liquidity improvement, leverage reduction, and the transition to an omnichannel, digitally enabled business model.

Melissa Moreira Amado joined Establishment Labs as Vice President of Global Human Resources in September 2025. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, she is responsible for the company’s global people strategy, in support of the company’s mission to transform women’s health worldwide.
Prior to joining Establishment Labs®, Ms. Moreira Amado served as Vice President of Global Shared Services at Bacardi, where she was responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing global shared services operations supporting Finance, Human Resources, and Supply Chain across multiple regions. She previously held the role of Global HR Director for Bacardi Shared Services.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Moreira Amado held senior human resources and talent leadership roles at Grupo Purdy Motor, adidas Group, British American Tobacco, and The Coca‑Cola Company, with responsibilities spanning Latin America, the Caribbean, and global operations.

Mr. Ehrhardt joined the Establishment Labs® leadership team in April of 2024 after a distinguished career in Plastic Surgery and Dermatology in the U.S. market.  He was most recently VP and General Manager of the U.S. Plastic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine business unit for Allergan Aesthetics, an Abbvie company.  In his 26 plus years at Allergan he held various senior leadership roles such as VP U.S. Commercial Operations, VP of Sales Plastic Surgery & Regenerative Medicine and VP of Sales and Marketing, U.S. Dermatology.  Notably, he was head of Dermatology Sales for the launch of Botox Cosmetic, acquisition and merger of Lifecell into the U.S. Plastic Surgery organization, acquisition and launch of Aczone®, an acne product, and the launch of the Inspira® line of breast implants.   In his role at Establishment Labs®, he will be responsible for the commercialization of the Motiva® Femtech line of breast aesthetics devices in both the U.S. and Canada.   He holds undergraduate degrees in Finance and Marketing from the University of Cincinnati and an M.B.A. from Xavier University.

Jeffrey Bettinger joined Establishment Labs® in November 2021 from Nu Skin, a global leader in beauty and wellness, where he served as the Chief People and Places Officer. In addition, he held a variety of executive and senior leadership roles in medical devices, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and engineering.

Some of his past employers are USAA, Petco, State Farm, Fluor, and Walmart. He has had the honor of receiving regional and national recognition for leadership development and culture transformation. Moreover, he has been published on a variety of human capital topics. Mr. Bettinger has an extensive academic background, starting with a bachelor’s degree in communication, a master’s degree in Organizational Communication and Educational Administration from Idaho State University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Liberty University.
